Vedic astrology have a concept called Vedic calendar which shows the auspicious dates and times based on the adjustment of the city your residing in and the sunset and sunrise timing. One such intellection is showing Dina, Nakshatra , Tithi , Yoga , Karana for every day. Chogadiya is considered to be the most auspicious time of the day where occasions like marriage , or buying assets like property or car should be executed planned around this time.
Dina: The time of the diurnal coarse of the day.
Nakashatra: The placement of the celestial stars specially the constellations that define the time of the chogadiya
Tithi : In Vedic astrology Tithi is a lunar day, the timeline is of the longitudinal angle between Moon and the Sun to increase by 12 degree.
THE METHOD OF CALCULATING CHOGHADIYA
Each day is divided into two time periods Daytime which is the period from sunrise to sunset and Night time that is the timeline from sunset to the sunrise next day. Every single day consists of Choghadiya. The daytime difference is arrived by calculating the difference between Sunrise and Sunset and dividing the same by 8.
WHAT IS A MUHURAT
A muhurat is that exact time period of the day which claims to bring about the most success if you are planning to do something auspicious in the day. In a world of methods and techniques there are people who still believe in the positive timing and have faith that no matter how planned their procession is if its not done in the correct time it is difficult to come into perfection. Performing any major activity or event at home according to the Muhurat gives more beneficial results. Specially Puja or any spiritual activity. This special auspicious time or muhurat will come under the time period of ChoghadiYA
CLASSIFICATION OF THE SEVEN CHOGHADIYA
Each choghadiya has seven sequence and every sequence has its own importance, it depends on the individual which auspicious occasion they are going to select in order for them to come up with an optimistic outcome with whatever they are doing. One has to careful and take expert advice because in Choghadiya too there are occasions that can be pretty neutral or even inauspicious.
The auspicious time period is called Amrut, Shoobh and Labh
Neutral time period is called Chal
Inauspicious time period is called Udveg , kaal & Rog
