Here are the steps involved in a Tarot Card Reading –

First and foremost, you must set the ambience for a reading by lighting some candles, maybe play some soothing music to make a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere.

Next, you must form a question, on the basis of which you will do your tarot card reading. For beginners, it is best to start with some general open-ended questions like “What does the future of my relationship look like?”.

Once the question is formed, you must shuffle the decks while thinking of the question or have your friend explain it to you. the size of a Tarot Card is bigger than that of a playing card so be careful while shuffling them.

Next, you must cut or divide the deck into 3 parts, you can also ask your friend to do this for you.

You must choose the layout for your cards, if it’s a simple question, go for a simple layout.

Instead of minute details, keep your eye on the larger picture. Tarot cards are like various pages of a novel. You see the major journeys that everyone goes through, and sometimes the images just pop out and talk to you. Tarot is best for getting a general picture of the future.

Now that you know how to do a Tarot Card reading, here are a few tips to help you ace a reading –

Choose a good deck -

A classic deck, one inspired by pop culture, or whatever you find interesting, can be selected. Be sure it resonates with you, whatever deck you want.

Practice regularly -

Although tarot card reading can come naturally to some, practice makes better, just like everything else you pick up. It's just as necessary to practice every day as to pick the right stack. Choose one card every day to meditate on. Look at the pictures to see if they're talking to you.

Choose a card you relate to -

Choose a card that reflects yourself and start by spreading it out. Ask questions in the centre of your card and then see if the cards you draw tell you something that you already believe is real or that seems to be inevitable. It is not about asking the future to read tarot cards, so be sure to keep that in mind when pulling the card that speaks to you.
